April 30, 2021: Inviting the Queen wins Gold Medal in Aging Consciously category of 2020 Nautilus Book Awards!

Nautilus Book Awards is an annual accolade of books in the genre of social and environmental justice, established in the US in 1998. The award carries a monetary prize and seeks to recognize books in multiple categories that “make a difference and inspire.” The award is named for the nautilus shell, as a symbol of wisdom and growth.

As Nautilus explains their mission:  “The Nautilus Awards represent Better Books for a Better World. During the past 22 years, this unique book awards program has continued to gain prestige with authors and publishers around the world as it seeks, recognizes, honors, celebrates and promotes print books that inspire and connect our lives as individuals, families, communities, and global citizens.”

This year’s competition was unusually large with upwards of 500 entries which makes this award even more competitive.

As the author, I am deeply honored to have my first book recognized with such a prestigious award.

I visited Chicago for the Jung Society for Scholarly Studies conference where I presented material on the Emerging Archetype of the Queen, the subject of my forthcoming book.

Awards

  • Named Best of Thumbtack 2015 and 2016 for Psychotherapy Services
  • October 23, 2019: Won 2nd Place in Hay House’s Writer’s Workshop for Inviting the Queen.
